News conference on Canadian Media Study



    VANCOUVER, June 25 /CNW Telbec/ - Results of a cross-Canada survey of
media workers on the state of Canadian journalism, newsroom ethics, on-the-job
concerns, and more, will be released Wednesday at a news conference in
Vancouver. The study was conducted on behalf of Canada's largest media union -
the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada - with input by
researchers from McMaster and Ryerson universities. It is the largest survey
of its kind ever conducted of Canadian media.
