News Conference Advisory - Canadian Teachers' Federation to focus on issues affecting education as part of annual lobby day on Parliament Hill



    OTTAWA, April 20 /CNW Telbec/ - The Canadian Teachers' Federation will
host a news conference tomorrow to highlight some of the key issues of its
third annual "Hill Day" with parliamentarians.
    "Hill Day provides a powerful opportunity for teacher leaders across
Canada to discuss critical issues affecting education with federally elected
officials and senior government advisors," explains CTF President Emily Noble.
On April 21, members of the CTF Board of Directors will be involved in
meetings with MPs, Senators and senior government officials to voice their
concerns and discuss recommendations on issues that affect teaching and
learning in Canadian classrooms.
