VANCOUVER, Jan. 31 /CNW/ - A news conference will be held on Thursday
February 1st to launch Auto Crime Enforcement Month in British Columbia where
updated statistics and information will be released to accredited media.
Who: Speaking at the event will be Solicitor General John Les, ICBC
VP of Loss Management Mark Withenshaw, and IMPACT's Sgt. Gord
What: Information to be released includes IMPACT's top ten wanted car
thieves with mugshots, the top ten stolen vehicles, the top ten
things car thieves fear, the top ten items stolen from a
vehicle, the top ten ways to protect your vehicle, and auto
theft victim information by age.
There will be several photo opportunities including a live
outdoor demonstration involving various partners working
together to combat auto crime.
When: Thursday February 1, 2007 at 10:30 AM sharp.
