News Advisory - Reminder: World Vision's One Life Experience kicks off Okanagan campaign

    KELOWNA, BC, Sept. 21 /CNW/ - The World Vision One Life Experience, a 186
square-metre (2,000 square-foot) interactive African village will debut in
B.C. today outside of the Orchard Park Shopping Centre. Visitors to the
exhibit will learn about the impact of HIV and AIDS by walking in the
footsteps of one of four African children through captivating audio and
powerful photography. The exhibit moves visitors beyond the AIDS statistics to
an understanding of why the pandemic is the greatest humanitarian crisis of
our time.
    Kelowna is the first B.C. stop on the Canadian tour of the World Vision
One Life Experience and is part of World Vision's Okanagan 500 Community
Campaign running from September 21 - October 22. The goal of the campaign is
to find sponsors for 500 needy children in developing countries. The generous
residents of Okanagan communities already sponsor 3,063 children through World
Vision.
    The World Vision One Life Experience is a free exhibit and will be open
to the public from September 21 - 24. Parental discretion is advised for
children under the age of 12.
