New Zealand's Ministry of Social Development Selects Curam Software for Electronic Client Management System




    System to Streamline Social Security and Employment Services

    HERNDON, VA., March 14 /CNW/ - Curam Software, the leading provider of

the New Zealand Ministry of Social Development (MSD) has selected the Curam
Business Application Suite(TM) to power the agency's electronic Client
Management System. The Client Management System will work to streamline social
security and employment services within MSD's Work and Income division. The
Work and Income division helps job seekers find work, pays income support and
provides services on behalf of the New Zealand government.

    The Client Management System represents the first step in the Ministry's
legacy transformation process. The system will automate some previously manual
social security and employment services case management functions, thereby
empowering staff to place job seekers into the workforce more efficiently.

    MSD chose HP New Zealand as the project's System Implementation partner.
Ministry officials anticipate the first phase of the project to be completed
in July 2007 with a full rollout by years end.

    MSD's new Client Management System complements the Working New Zealand

Curam Software worked with HP New Zealand and MSD on the Client Management
System Proof of Concept project.
