million total viewers, winning the hour and demos (A25-54, A18-49 and A18-34)
for the night. The new GHOST WHISPERER episode also bested the series premiere

In the next FLASHPOINT episode, entitled "Backwards Day" (airing Friday,
January 16 at 9 p.m. ET), after eight years of trying, Emma and her husband,
Blake, finally get pregnant. But a few weeks later, Emma miscarries and grows
more and more despondent every day. When Emma discovers a suspicious text
message on Blake's cell phone, she suspects he's having an affair and invites
the "other woman" over. The SRU responds to a panicked 911 call and discover a
volatile barricade situation, involving a potentially delusional wife, and a
terrified "other woman" whom she has taken hostage. When the hostage reveals
that she's pregnant, the situation becomes a tactical nightmare for the team.
A pregnant hostage means they can't use any of their usual less-lethal
techniques. Handling the negotiations, Ed (Hugh Dillon) reaches out to a
potentially betrayed wife, but is forced to face the problems in his own
marriage. Kristin Booth (M.V.P.), Noam Jenkins (REGENISIS) and Alisen Down
(ROBSON ARMS) guest-star.
Debuting No.1 on both CTV and CBS last summer, FLASHPOINT is currently in
production on 18 new episodes in Toronto.
