HALIFAX, March 13 /CNW/ - The New Brunswick hospitality industry will
enjoy the benefits of two new hotels in strategic locations by late 2007,

The first hotel in Atlantic Canada to carry The Hampton Inn flag, and
contributing a unique product mix to the city is under construction in Saint
John. Located on 51 Fashion Drive adjacent to the rapidly developing East
Point Centre, The Hampton Inn will offer 118 guest rooms, three king Jacuzzi
suites and 31 king studio suites. Combined with meeting space and amenities
such as a pool with hot tub and waterslide, continental breakfast and free
high-speed internet, "we are confident this property perfectly complements the
needs of guests to Saint John," Mr. Squires said. The Hampton Inn is scheduled
to open in late 2007.
The Super 8 Motel Campbellton, complete with 60 rooms and 1,250 square
feet of renovated meeting space is scheduled to open in May 2007. Located at
26 Duke Street in Campbellton, the new Super 8 was formally the Maritime Inn
and has "experienced a major $1.8 million make-over and has a bright and a
profitable future," Squires said. The property will be the seventh Super 8
Motel in Atlantic Canada offering the traveling public, both business and
leisure, outstanding limited service hospitality options.
"The addition of 60 new rooms, specialty rooms like family suites, a
pool, games room and fitness centre in this four-season tourism centre will be
important to the local economy and the profile of the area," he added.
Both properties are well-appointed limited service hotels offering
complimentary breakfast, free high speed internet and special pre-opening

Pacrim Hospitality Services Inc. will manage more than 800 hotel rooms in
