Bottomline savings from the Bottomline light
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., July 8 /CNW/ -- What's the bottom line when it comes
to the new Bottomline(TM) task light from Details, a Steelcase company?

Bottomline, a T5 underbin or undershelf task light, is designed with the
bottom line in mind, using T5 fluorescent technology that's up to 15 percent
more energy efficient than a standard T8 light.
"The energy savings may not seem like much at first," says Jeff Charon,
product manager for Details, a Steelcase company. "But if you're installing
dozens or hundreds of them, it adds up quickly."
Bottomline is gentler on the environment, too. T5 lamps use less
mercury, require less glass in manufacturing, and need less packaging to ship
than T8 lamps. What's more, T5 fluorescent lamps stay brighter longer than T8
lamps, retaining more than 95 percent of their light output after 8,000 hours.
All attributes considered, Bottomline shines as an attractive solution
for organizations seeking LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)
certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
Bottomline is a sister of Underline(TM) and Personal Underline(TM), two
other energy-saving lights from Details. Bottomline is available in three
colors - black, pewter and dark champagne. Depending on size, the U.S. list
price for Bottomline is $205 to $258.
