OTTAWA, March 2 /CNW Telbec/ - NAV CANADA announced today the results of
a survey that reopens the collective agreement and extends it for one
additional year with the Professional Institute of the Public Service of
Canada (PIPSC), the union representing some 340 employees in information
management, engineering support and various related functions.
The extension essentially continues the current agreement, while adding a
3 per cent salary increase for the additional year.
Ratified by PIPSC members on February 28, 2007, the extension adds a
fourth year to a contract that was in effect for the three-year period from
May 01, 2004 through April 30, 2007.
