TORONTO, Sept. 2 /CNW/ - MTV is everywhere at once this September, as it
heads out of the studio and across the country to connect with fans with three
unique tours. Beginning today, MTV Live goes back to school with students and
stops at four campuses to rate their frosh week. Tomorrow, the LifeStyles(R)
Condoms Love Fest(TM) tour begins a road trip to 14 cities across Canada with
MTV Live's DJ Dopey spinning the hottest music for club goers. Hosted by Paris
Hilton at the Toronto stop, the LifeStyles(R) Condoms Love Fest(TM) Tour hits
the hottest night clubs and campus venues in Canada, to spread the word about
safe sex. MTV continues the sizzle later in September with Rogers MusicStore
Presents MTV's The Leak Live tour. Featuring hot Canadian band Mobile and
their upcoming album Tales from the City, the tour kicks off from MTV
headquarters at the legendary Masonic Temple on September 22 before heading
out to six universities across the country.
"We want to engage young people everywhere they are and create
experiences," said Brad Schwartz, Senior Vice President and General Manager,
Much MTV Group, CTV Inc. "We're taking MTV on the road, giving them MTV's
unpredictable daily show; talking with them about prevalent social issues; and
rocking out with Mobile."

    MTV Live Tour
    -------------
MTV Live correspondents Diane Salema and Paul 'the intern' Lemieux visit
universities across the country during frosh week and rate which one is the
"froshiest". Getting right into the action, Diane and Paul hit the following
campuses: St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia (September
2); The University of Manitoba (September 4); and The University of
Saskatchewan (September 5). The Frosh Tour ends on September 6 at The
University of Ottawa with an outdoor concert featuring performances by
Canadian underground hip hop artist Cadence Weapon and 2008 MMVA nominee
Classified. Viewers can watch the insanity and judge which university has the
best frosh week beginning Monday, September 15 at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET when
highlights from the tour air on MTV Live with host Daryn Jones.

    LifeStyles(R) Condoms Love Fest(TM) tour
    ----------------------------------------
MTV in Canada and MTV's Staying Alive - MTV's global HIV and AIDS
awareness initiative - present the LifeStyles(R) Condoms Love Fest(TM) tour in
an effort to spread the word about safer sex practices to Canada's youth. The
fifth annual sexual awareness concert tour heads out across Canada visiting
nightclubs and campus venues from September 3 to October 13. The campaign
expects to attract thousands of attendees in a total of 14 cities coast to
coast. MTV and Staying Alive have exclusive media access and will be on-site
with giveaways for Love Fest(TM) goers. Good Charlotte's Benji Madden
headlines the Toronto stop, hosted by his girlfriend Paris Hilton, on
September 13. A limited amount of tickets for the Toronto date will be given
out to a studio audience on MTV Live prior to the event. Fans can check out
mtv.ca/lovefest for all the sexy details, including a complete list of tour
dates and venues.

Rogers MusicStore presents MTV's The Leak Live
    ----------------------------------------------
Rogers and MTV have partnered up to bring fans the Rogers MusicStore
Presents MTV's The Leak Live. The tour brings MTV's The Leak to life -
allowing fans across the country to check out Canadian band Mobile's latest
album, weeks before it hits the streets. Instead of listening to their album
on mtv.ca, fans can see Mobile live in concert, as they get set to rock-out at
five college and university campuses across the country, playing songs from
their sophomore album, which drops October 7. Launching at MTV's Concert Hall
on September 22, the tour hits Fanshawe College in London, Ontario (September
24); Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (September 29); and the
University of British Columbia (October 1), with two more dates in Montreal
and Halifax to be announced shortly. MTV Live and MTV News join the tour to
catch all the action at every stop, with live coverage and behind the scenes
peeks from each event. Fans can engage in the tour across MTV platforms
including: MTV, mtv.ca, as well as an exclusive mobile experience on Rogers
phones. For all things Leak Live, check out mtv.ca/leaklive starting September
15, or text LEAK to 4849 on your Rogers phone for exclusive access to the
"Leak Hub" including tour dates, video blogging from the band, music videos,
live performance coverage, ring tones, and mobile alerts for all MTV updates
on the tour. To hear Mobile's new album "Tales From the City" before anyone
else, stayed tuned to MTV and mtv.ca for more details in the coming weeks.
