MTS Video on Demand offers wireless movie listings 'on the go'

    WINNIPEG, June 14 /CNW/ - In between work, the gym and grabbing some
dinner, choosing a movie to watch tonight just got a lot easier with the
launch of MTS Video on Demand wireless movie listings.
    Customers can now easily see what movies are available on MTS Video on
Demand using the Mobile Browser(TM) service on their cell phones. Once a
customer gets home, MTS TV service allows them to conveniently order the movie
they have picked by simply using their MTS TV remote control.
    "This is yet another service we're offering to make the fast-paced lives
of our customers a little easier," said Kelvin Shepherd, President Consumer
Markets, MTS Allstream. "An MTS customer can now decide what movie they'd like
to watch tonight while they're standing in line at the grocery store, or
picking their child up from school. It's all about convenience."
    By simply going into their cell phone's Mobile Browser service and
selecting Events - Movies - MTS Video on Demand listings, customers can view
MTS Video on Demand content in four categories:

    
    -   New This Week
    -   Top Ten
    -   Final Showing
    -   New Releases
    

    Customers will see lists of movie titles and details including ratings
and actors. If they have something specific in mind, the 'search' function
allows them to find it quickly and easily.
