MSEmploy Canada Launches - First Job and Training Portal Exclusively for the Microsoft Community

In connection with Microsoft Canada Co., Unique Site Matches Technology
    Jobs with Microsoft Technology Professionals

    MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Feb. 17 /CNW/ -- MSEmploy Canada (
http://www.msemploy.ca ) -- an innovative new website -- has launched to help
technology companies find qualified candidates and to assist technology
workers find their ideal jobs.
The new website will be a valuable resource to help close Canada's
technology skills gap since demand for skilled technology professionals has
surpassed the amount of qualified workers.
MSEmploy Canada is focused on job postings requiring expertise in
Microsoft-based technologies -- such as SharePoint(R), SQL Server(R), .NET,
and Microsoft Dynamics(R). Companies throughout North America have adapted
these technologies and now are finding a shortage of qualified labor. By the
same token, technologists with experience in Microsoft-based technologies now
have a vehicle to showcase their expertise, certifications and experience.
"MSEmploy is a valuable tool to help Microsoft technology partners find
the resources they need to help grow their businesses," said Microsoft's
George Kyriakis, Director of Partner Marketing for Microsoft Canada Co. "And
over time it will serve as a compelling resource to encourage more entrants
into the Microsoft ecosystem."

MSEmploy Canada varies from conventional job boards in several ways:
-- Specialized around Microsoft-based technologies resulting in higher
quality candidates for recruiters and more quality jobs for
        candidates.
-- Each resume is screened to ensure the database only includes technology

        professionals.
    -- Integrated with training companies.
    -- Expanded career resources.

In addition to a job board, MSEmploy Canada offers information on how
Microsoft professionals (and organizations) can expand their skills with
additional training and professional development. The company will also be
holding career events around the country where Microsoft employers can get
face-to-face with top talent, whether currently working with Microsoft-based
technologies or pros working with other technologies or professional packages
that are interested in migrating to Microsoft-based technologies. This talent
pool will also include students from schools and universities entering the
workforce.
MSEmploy Canada plans to add additional features to make the site a
leading repository of information about Microsoft-based technologies, careers
and recruiting.
"Our goal is to become the ultimate resource for all things Microsoft for
people currently working with Microsoft-based technologies as well as people
working with compatible technologies who are looking to make a switch," said
Bryan Morgan, vice president of business development for MSEmploy Canada.
MSEmploy Canada is part of MSEmploy North America, an affiliate of
MSEmploy SAS which has operated sites in France, Italy, Sweden, and Germany
beginning in 2005. MSEmploy North America plans to open a site in the United
States within the next 3 months. MSEmploy Canada currently has more than 250
companies on board and more than 4,000 candidates registered resulting from
initial launch activities in September.
