TORONTO, Oct. 29 /CNW/ - Mint Technology Corp. (TSX-V: MIT), today
announced the creation of a global business development team to execute on a
number of opportunities that Mint's new investors have brought to the company.
Reporting directly to Chris Hogg, Mints CEO, the team comprises Andrew
Martinez and Bradley Kruse who will manage and execute a number of new
projects in Canada, USA, UK and the Middle East. These new projects include
mobile application enhancements to Mint's current product offerings, an
innovative payroll card product targeted at migrant workers with a money
remittance function, and a global financial institution partnership targeting
the financially underserved consumers which are central to Mint's development
Mr. Kruse is an experienced senior executive with a track record of
successfully building global sales channels, identifying and structuring new
business opportunities, and growing both established and start-up service
sector companies into market leaders. Mr. Kruse has previously held corporate
executive positions originating and overseeing deal structures for a
wide-range of global businesses including leading the Business Development and
Strategic Alliance group across Europe, Middle East, Africa & Asia Pacific for
Cendant Corporation, one of the world's largest providers of travel and
property services including the Avis/Budget group, Century 21, and the
Travelport travel group. Bradley holds a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics.
Andrew Martinez is the Chief Executive Officer of Pioneering Pay, a US
based international treasury and payroll consulting firm that focuses on
business development, finance and treasury projects in travel, construction,
manufacturing and real estate industries. Mr. Martinez's previous employment
includes his tenure at the European headquarters of Cendant Corporation, where
he ran the European corporate finance, treasury and financial planning group.
Mr. Martinez has established and led relationships with many industry
stakeholders including Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays, HSBC, JP Morgan,
KMPG, Deloitte and Citigroup. Prior to joining Cendant, Mr. Martinez worked at
Daiwa Europe, PWC and Ernst & Young. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Banking and
International Finance and is a trained Chartered accountant.
