TORONTO, Sept. 16 /CNW/ - Mint Technology Corp. (TSX-V: MIT) announced
today that its President and CEO, Chris Hogg, will be speaking with brokers in
Ontario and Quebec over the next week to promote investor interest in the

Mint announced that two new programs were under negotiation with a
Canadian financial institution. One program would involve the issuance of
prepaid cards targeted at children and dependents of 2 to 3 million card
holders of the financial institution throughout Canada. A second program with
that financial institution would issue prepaid cards to declined credit card
applicants instead of the traditional "turn down" letter and this card program
would include tools which allow cardholders to monitor their credit score and

pilot payroll card program with Transguard Group in the United Arab Emirates
and that processing and distribution agreements were under negotiation with
partners in Dubai. "We believe that there are other opportunities for the Mint
payroll product, not only with Transguard in the United Arab Emirates, but
throughout the Middle East. In addition, Mint has various opportunities under
discussion in Europe including as a youth music co-brand opportunity, a
prepaid card for migrants," said Chris Hogg.
Mint continues to work with MuchMusic managing their prepaid card.
