TORONTO, June 17, 2009 /CNW/ - Starting Monday, June 29, GO Transit
customers using the Milton line will have two new weekday train trips to
choose from - the first new rail service on this line since 2002.
A new weekday eastbound morning train will depart Milton GO Station at
8:08 a.m., making all stops to Union Station. A new weekday westbound
afternoon train will depart Union Station at 5:40 p.m., making all stops to
Milton GO Station.
With this new train, Milton GO Bus trips arriving at Union Station
between 9:20 and 9:40 a.m. will be discontinued including some eastbound trips
stopping in Milton at Main & Martin, on Derry Rd., and at the Square One GO
Adjustments have been made to the departure times of two train trips on
the Milton line. The 7:58 a.m. weekday morning train from Milton GO Station
will now depart five minutes earlier at 7:53 a.m. The 5:30 p.m. weekday
afternoon train from Union Station will now depart five minutes earlier at
5:25 p.m. Arrival times have been modified at all station stops to reflect
