Military training on the Saint-Lawrence seaway

    MONTREAL, Sept. 11 /CNW Telbec/ - Reservists from the 34 Combat Engineer
Regiment (34 CER) will execute maneuvers on the seaway near Dorval, starting
from Pointe Picard up to the Atwater doc, on 12 September.
Five "Zodiac" boats, two rigid haul inflatable boats and their crews
might be seen training on the seaway this Saturday.
In partnership with the municipalities of Dorval and Lachine, all
measures were taken in order to complete the training safely and to minimize
any disturbance to citizens navigating on the Saint-Lawrence seaway. No
weapons will be used during this exercise.
In order to provide relevant training for our reservists, it is not
unseen that, on occasion, they get to train in a variety of urban settings,
thus adding to the realism of the exercise's scenarios.
