MFDA Sets Date for Wayne Larson Hearing in Edmonton, Alberta



    TORONTO, Oct. 29 /CNW/ - The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada
("MFDA") commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Wayne Larson by
Notice of Hearing dated July 2, 2008.
    The first appearance in this proceeding took place today at 10:00 a.m.
(Alberta) before a three-member Hearing Panel of the MFDA Prairie Regional
Council.
    The hearing of this matter on the merits has been scheduled to take place
before a Hearing Panel of the Prairie Regional Council on Tuesday, March 24,
2009 at 10:00 a.m. (Alberta) in Edmonton, Alberta or as soon thereafter as the
hearing can be held. The location of hearing will be announced at a later
date.
    The hearing will be open to the public, except as may be required for the
protection of confidential matters.
    A copy of the Notice of Hearing is available on the MFDA web site at
