TORONTO, April 23 /CNW/ - The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada
("MFDA") commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Ronald Freynet by
Notice of Hearing dated March 13, 2007.
As specified in the Notice of Hearing, the first appearance in this
proceeding took place on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. (Prairie) before
a 3-member Hearing Panel of the MFDA Prairie Regional Council.
The date for the commencement of the hearing of this matter on the merits
has been scheduled to take place before a Hearing Panel of the Prairie
Regional Council on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. (Prairie) in the
Hearing Room located at the Delta Winnipeg, 350 St. Mary Avenue, Winnipeg,
Manitoba, or as soon thereafter as the hearing can be held.
The hearing will be open to the public, except as may be required for the
protection of confidential matters.
