MFDA Adjourns Hearing on Merits in the Matter of Calogero (Charlie) Arcuri



    TORONTO, Oct. 1 /CNW/ - The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada
("MFDA") commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Calogero Arcuri by
Notice of Hearing dated February 5, 2008.
    Following consideration of submissions from the parties, the Hearing
Panel adjourned the hearing on consent of the parties. It was determined that
the Hearing will be rescheduled on two days notice.
    A copy of the Notice of Hearing is available on the MFDA website at
www.mfda.ca.

    The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada is the self-regulatory
organization for Canadian mutual fund dealers. The MFDA regulates the
operations, standards of practice and business conduct of its 157 Members and
