Metro Toronto Gears up for Film Fest



    Toronto's largest free daily announces exclusive daily and weekend
    coverage of the Toronto International Film Festival

    TORONTO, Sept. 4 /CNW/ - Metro Toronto is gearing up for the Toronto
International Film Festival (TIFF), and will be offering Metro readers
exclusive daily coverage from September 6 - September 15.
    Metro Toronto readers will get daily coverage of TIFF in a special
pullout section. And, for the first time ever, Metro Toronto will be
publishing on the weekend. The daily and special weekend editions of Metro
will be distributed in the downtown core for the duration of the festival.
    The daily Film Festival section will feature one-on-one interviews with
celebrities, and extensive coverage from Metro's film critics, Rick McGinnis,
Chris Atchison and Norm Wilner. Metro Columnist Enza Supermodel will be
tracking the party beat, with a special Hot Ticket inside the feature every
day.
    Metro Toronto will be on the streets every day of the Film Fest with the
Metro Street Promoter team to distribute and inform the public of the special
feature. Metro has been promoting the Film Fest coverage in paper, on
newspaper box cards, with specially branded Metro SMART cars and through a
radio campaign on FLOW 93.5 FM.
