    NARRAGANSETT, RI, Jan. 9 /CNW/ - The Grantham Prize for Excellence in
Reporting on the Environment is accepting entries for the fourth annual
US$75,000 prize. Awarded for a work of nonfiction produced in North America
during the previous calendar year, the Grantham Prize recognizes the work of a
journalist or team of journalists for exemplary reporting on the environment.
The purpose of the Prize is to encourage outstanding environmental coverage,
recognize reporting that has the potential to bring about constructive change,
and broadly disseminate the Prize-winning story in order to increase public
awareness of environmental issues. Deadlines: book entries postmarked by
January 12, 2009; all other entries postmarked by February 2, 2009. Entry form
