important gain of 119 units or an increase of 36.9% compared to the first
month of 2007. These results are a reflection of our solid residual values.
Marcus Breitschwerdt, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Canada said, "On
the heels of our best year ever with 16,114 units in 2007, January's momentum
is actually in higher gear and it is no coincidence that this is a
record-breaking January for us. We saw a huge amount of activity on the smart,
B-Class and C-Class models in January. The month's excellent results can be
attributed to a combination of highly desirable products, competitive offers
and strong residual values."
