("Mercator") (TSX VENTURE: GMT) confirms the achievement of its first air
charter through its new industrial division as disclosed on January 12, 2009.
"It was an overall success, from the logistics' side to the client's entire
satisfaction" says Jean-Pierre Apélian, President and CEO.
As such, following the first operation's success, Mercator confirms the
conclusion of a second logistics contract for the chartering of a Boeing 747
to link North America and Africa.
In addition, Mercator obtains a purchase order to charter four additional
planes to complete the client's contract. Mercator's management believes that
this purchase order should be completed within the month of February. Each
charter is estimated at approximately $500,000 USD of revenue.
