"The addition of Medical Facilities to the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index is another important milestone in our history as a publicly traded company.  Our inclusion in this index should both increase our exposure to potential investors and provide for enhanced trading liquidity of our stock," said Dr. Donald Schellpfeffer, CEO of Medical Facilities.

The index is float adjusted and market cap weighted and was developed with industry input as the ideal benchmark for those with small cap exposure of the Canadian equity market. The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) serves as the distributor of both real-time and historical data for this index.
