TORONTO, March 4 /CNW/ - Ontario Information and Privacy Commissioner Ann
Cavoukian and senior officials from Hewlett-Packard Canada are meeting with
approximately 100 professionals from Ontario's health and technology sectors
Wednesday morning (March 5) to discuss a joint paper released by the
Commissioner and HP, RFID and Privacy: Guidance for Health-Care Providers.
The paper cuts through the mists of uncertainty over the potential
application of RFID technology in the health sector and the privacy
implications of its uses.
The event includes presentations by the Commissioner and HP, a panel
discussion and a question and answer session.
