Media invitation - The Woodstock of the Arab world in Montreal this coming August! - Araband Live Program to be unveiled



    MONTREAL, June 20 /CNW Telbec/ - The mesmerizing sights and sounds of the
Arab world will fill the air in the Old Port of Montreal on August 18th and
19th with Araband Live 2007, a major cultural event showcasing superstars from
the Middle-East and North Africa including performances by Asala (Syria),
Mounir Mohammad (Egypt), Rida-Al Abdallah (Iraq), as well as arts and foods
from two dozen Arab countries.
    Representatives from the media are cordially invited to the unveiling of
Araband Live 2007's program, presented by Lamine Foura, event spokesperson.
    Organizers will also announce the result of the electronic popular vote
in which more than 30,000 fans participated to choose the two female singers
who will complete the line-up of the two-day Arab cultural extravaganza in
Montreal.
