Unveiling of the first green industrial building in Québec, which will
soon earn LEED certification
MONTREAL, Oct. 1 /CNW Telbec/ - Lise Morissat and Yvan Miron,
respectively President and Chief Operating Officer and Chairman of the Board
and Chief Executive Officer of Stageline Group, along with Pierre Arcand,
President of Murox, and Marc Dutil, President and Chief Operating Officer of
Canam Group, would like to invite you to attend the ceremonial unveiling of
Stageline Group's brand-new high-energy-performance industrial building.
Media representatives will have the opportunity to see how
state-of-the-art eco-efficiency concepts have been applied. The integrated
design of this building, which is the only one of its kind in Québec, features
a wide range of concepts, from the ecological landscaping of the site to the
energy-efficient design of the building, including water management and
preservation techniques, the choice of healthy materials, and the quality of
the interior environment. Reflecting the eco-friendly philosophy that gave
birth to Stageline Group's first mobile stages, this industrial building
should inspire future guidelines in the area of industrial eco-responsibility.
Stageline Group and Murox will also take advantage of this occasion to
explain the challenges that they faced in turning the type of responsible
entrepreneurship that they value into a tangible achievement. They will
summarize their shared experience in this project, and will offer their
opinions with respect to the conditions that must exist in order for Québec to
undergo a true greening.
A number of public figures from the world of government, including David
Whissell, the Québec Labour Minister, as well as those of the environment,
business, finance, and show business, will be in attendance for the ceremonial
opening of this industrial building, which epitomizes "greening" in every
sense of the word.
