LAVAL, QC, Dec. 3 /CNW Telbec/ - Industry leader in 'in-vitro'
diagnostics, Roche Diagnostics has invested $20 million in its Canadian head
office, doubling the square footage of its office space and the company's
capacity to better respond to the health care needs of Canadians.
On December 5th, media are invited to the inauguration of the company's
new head office in Laval. Christopher Parker, President and General Manager,
Roche Diagnostics (Canada), will be joined by Severin Schwan, President and
CEO of Roche Diagnostics Division. In March 2008, Mr. Schwan will become
President and CEO of Roche Group, and will oversee the pharmaceutical and
diagnostic divisions of the company. Laval mayor, Gilles Vaillancourt, will
also be in attendance.
On this occasion, Mr. Parker and Mr. Schwan will present the company's
plans to improve support to the health care network, and consequently, improve
the health and quality of life of patients.
