    TORONTO, Feb. 6 /CNW/ - Ontario's Chief Electoral Officer, Greg Essensa,
announced today that the Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock returning office is
open to the public.
    Qualified electors for the March 5 by-election may contact the local
returning office to have their names added to the Voters List, confirm or
update their voter registration or apply for a job as an election worker.
    To be eligible to vote on Election Day a person must be:

    
      -  18 years of age or older,
      -  a Canadian citizen, and
      -  a resident of Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock.
