Media Alert - VITA Hosts Series of Lectures with Experts in Special Needs Care

Speakers to Address Improving Quality of Care

    TORONTO, April 9 /CNW/ -

WHAT: Due to government cutbacks and a series of closures to
facilities for people with special needs over the last
20 years, VITA, a leader in providing support and empowering
individuals with intellectual disabilities, has experienced an
influx of people requiring their services. As a result, VITA
has had to constantly educate and develop the skills of their
staff to meet the demand and provide the best service possible
              to their clients.

To help initiate an improvement to the overall quality of care
in this field, VITA will be hosting a series of lectures to
increase all service providers' skills in supporting
individuals with difficult and complex needs.

and September 21, 2007 to listen to three speakers

Segal as they discuss the issues surrounding people with
