Canada's largest courier expands green fleet with new environmentally
TORONTO, Sept. 20 /CNW/ - Purolator, Canada's largest overnight courier
company, is pleased to invite media to the unveiling of the Quicksider
prototype, Canada's first electric curbside delivery vehicle of its weight
class to be used in a courier fleet.
Media will have the opportunity to ride in the unique-shaped vehicle and
learn more about the special features that will enable Purolator to realize
further reductions in greenhouse gas and smog-causing emissions, minimize
fleet fuel consumption and improve operational efficiencies.
Short presentations will be made by Robert C. Johnson, President and CEO
of Purolator, Quicksider co-creators Roger Martin, Chairman, Unicell Limited
and Garrick Hu, Vice President, Advanced Engineering, ArvinMeritor.
