Media alert - Interview opportunity - Diabetes expert to present the results from study showing the benefits of nutritional supplement Glucerna(R) (1)



    MONTREAL, March 16 /CNW Telbec/ - A 2006 clinical trial demonstrated that
a structured intervention program that includes the nutritional supplement
Glucerna significantly reduced key metabolic markers of diabetes in overweight
patients with type 2 diabetes compared to baseline.(2)
    Dr. Farhad Zangeneh, expert in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism and
Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the George Washington University
School of Medicine in Sterling, Virginia, USA, will be presenting the results
of the study to his peers on March 19 in Montreal.
    Dr. Zangeneh and Marie-Claire Barbeau, a dietitian with Abbott Nutrition,
will be available for one-on-one interviews from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. to discuss
the results and details of the study.
