OTTAWA, June 28 /CNW Telbec/ - The Canadian Medical Association (CMA)
will hold its 140th annual meeting (General Council) in Vancouver at the
Westin Bayshore Hotel, from August 19-22, 2007.
This year's General Council theme, Together in partnership... the future
of care, provides a forum for CMA delegates to discuss issues of concern to
the profession, the public and the health care system in Canada.
Key features of the meeting will be:
- a strategic session on the funding of the continuum of care;
- a strategic session on patient-centered collaborative care;
- sessions on emerging issues, delegates motions; and
- an educational session addressing health and the environment.
