to psychiatry, clinical practice and patient care at the Canadian Psychiatric
Association's (CPA) 58th Annual Conference from September 4-7, 2008. With over
1,000 mental health professionals in attendance, this annual event is the
largest psychiatric conference in Canada.
Did you know that one in five Canadians will suffer from a mental illness
during their lifetime, and that depression is predicted to become the leading
cause of disease burden in developed countries by the end of the next decade?
Given these staggering statistics, it is little wonder that timely access to
quality mental health care is of growing concern to Canadians.
You are invited to attend the conference and report on a wide range of
sessions addressing the complex field of psychiatry. View the full program
