Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity - "stand UP!" Rally Awarded to North Vancouver's Cove Cliff Elementary School to Kick Off the 5th Annual National Bullying Awareness Week, November 19 to 25, 2007



    VANCOUVER, Nov. 19 /CNW/ - Over 16,000 kids across Canada took the
initiative to nominate their schools for a Bullying Awareness Week award,
answering the call, "tell us how you and your school stand up to bullying."
North Vancouver's Cove Cliff Elementary School has been named as one of only
four schools across Canada to receive the award, a rally sponsored by Astral
Media's Family Channel in partnership with PREVNet a national network of
Canadian researchers, community organizations and governments committed to
ending bullying (www.prevnet.ca).

    
    WHAT:     A rally to celebrate Cove Cliff Elementary School's
              achievements in promoting solutions to the problems of
              bullying.

              Celebrity co-hosts, Matthew Underwood ("Logan") and Christopher
              Massey ("Michael") from the Family Channel series "Zoey 101."

              Presentation and activities that offer a unique "behind-the-
              scenes" experience for students, including a sneak peak
              screening of a bullying-themed episode of the Family Channel
              series "Life With Derek," the opportunity for each student to
              sit in a director's chair to film a "stand UP!" shout out and
              the chance to pose with Matthew and Christopher in a photo
              shoot.
