Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity - Olympic athletes attend launch of new organization fostering youth leadership

    TORONTO, Oct. 3 /CNW/ - Olympic downhill skier Brian Stemmle will be
joined by other Canadian Olympic and professional athletes to launch a new
organization dedicated to fostering youth leadership and risk mitigation
through experiential sport education. Invited athletes include:

                             Adam Van Koeverden
    

    Athletes will share their experiences with high school students and will
participate in a question and answer session on athletic injuries. Students
will also view an extreme sports demonstration by Muskoka Woods.
    Dr. Christopher Mazza, president and CEO of Ornge, Ontario's provider of
aero-medical transport will share the vision of this innovative program. "As
health care providers we are often called upon to assist when something goes
wrong," said Mazza. "We are committed to promoting health and wellness among
our youth."
