Ontarians encouraged to get active and to take greater responsibility for
TORONTO, April 26 /CNW/ - Healthy living and environmental wellness will
be the focus this weekend as George Smitherman, Deputy Premier and Minister of
Health and Long-Term Care, and Kathleen Wynne, Minister of Education help
kick-off ONTARIO WALKS, a new initiative to get Ontarians walking. This event
is supported by the Ontario Medical Association and by private business.
Time: Sunday, April 29th, 2007

Place: Official Start: 10 a.m. at Starbucks
1084 Yonge Street (at Roxborough)
The 5km walk through the Rosedale Valley Ravine will converge
at approx. 11 a.m. at the Don Valley Brickworks - located at
550 Bayview Ave. (just south of Pottery Road).
