OTTAWA, April 24 /CNW Telbec/ - The Canadian Gas Association's (CGA)
commemorative book: Fuelling Progress: A History of the Canadian Gas
Association will be presented by Michael Cleland, President and CEO of the
CGA, to the Honourable Gary Lunn, Minister of Natural Resources and William
Young, Parliamentary Librarian for the Library of Parliament at a ceremony.
The book, commissioned by CGA to mark its centennial, recounts the history of
the association and the natural gas industry in Canada.

Founded in 1907, the Canadian Gas Association (CGA) is the voice of
Canada's natural gas delivery industry. The Association is made up of roughly
120 companies, organizations and individuals who are involved in the delivery
of natural gas in Canada and the United States. CGA members are typically
local gas distribution companies from coast to coast, transmission companies,
related equipment manufacturers, and other service providers. Together, CGA
members combine to deliver safe, reliable and environmentally preferred
natural gas to more than 6 million customers in Canada and to major markets in
the United States.
