Queen's Park Plate Showcases Local Food

TORONTO, Oct. 23 /CNW/ - Join Chefs Jason Parsons, Roberto Fracchioni and
more at Queen's Park to celebrate the bounty of local, Greenbelt-grown cuisine
with the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, Hon. Steve Peters.
With sponsorship by the Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation, Queen's Park puts
the spotlight on several regions within the Greenbelt. From Toronto to
Niagara, Ajax to Oakville and Uxbridge to Rice Lake, each regional chef will
prepare an item showcasing the abundance of our local harvest.
Three local wineries and three craft breweries will represent the
esteemed beverages originating from our Greenbelt, complimenting the food
being served to MPP's, mayors, and leaders from the agricultural and
environmental sectors.
