Media Advisory/Photo Op: Youth visit film festival to raise awareness about smoking in movies



    TORONTO, Sept. 6 /CNW/ - The Ontario Tobacco-Free Network (OTN) will join
tobacco-free youth groups and volunteers from across 10 communities in Ontario
to host two events informing movie-goers attending the Toronto International
Film Festival (TIFF) of the direct impact of smoking in youth-rated movies on
young people.

         Date: September 8, 2007
         Time: 11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
         Location: Scotiabank Theatre
         259 Richmond Street West, Toronto, Ontario

         Date: September 8, 2007
         Time: 1 - 2:00 p.m.
         Location: Roy Thomson Hall
         60 Simcoe Street, Toronto, Ontario
    

    The OTN is a provincial interagency network consisting of the Canadian
Cancer Society, Ontario Division, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario
(HSFO) and The Lung Association (TLA). The network is funded by the Ministry
of Health Promotion and supported in-kind by CCS, HSFO, TLA and the Ontario
