CORRECTION: Please note that attendance figures have been corrected from
a previous August 11 Media Advisory.

TORONTO, Aug. 12 /CNW/ - The year over year attendance for the Ontario
Science Centre has increased by 13.7% for the period of April 1 to July 31,
2009. The increase of 25% in attendance was for the month of July when over
150,000 visitors came to the Science Centre.
With four weeks left there are still many photo opportunities available.
The Lizards and Snakes: Alive! exhibition features more than 50 squamates
from five continents. Visit the blue-tongued skink with a body like a snake,
but the limbs of a lizard. Check out the amazing camouflage of the gabon
viper, which boasts the longest fangs of any snake - up to two inches tall.
While you're there, stop by the Science of Spying exhibition - build a
disguise, unscramble a secret code or crack a safe.
Food: Sink your teeth into science runs daily programs which explain the
relationship between food and science. Learn about real vs. fake flavours, how
worms digest food and what your food labels are really saying. Each weekend,
celebrity chefs present Food Science - Unearthed! Watch them prepare a recipe
while scientists and dieticians explain the nutritional elements of the
ingredients and how they work with the body.
