Media Advisory: Ontario's Buy Local, Share Local campaign to launch in Kingston



    KINGSTON, ON, Aug. 20 /CNW/ - Buy Local, Share Local, an innovative
campaign presented by RBC, will be launched Thursday, August 21st at the
Kingston Public Market by the Ontario Association of Food Banks (OAFB). The
initiative is supported by the Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA), the
Turkey Farmers of Ontario, Homegrown Ontario, and the Ontario Tender Fruit
Producers.
    The launch event will include a fresh food drive in support of the
Partners in Mission Food Bank. The goal for the campaign is to raise
100,000 pounds of fresh, local food for food banks across the province this
fall.
