Media Advisory: Air Canada Centre unveils new hi-def videoboard and expansion details

    TORONTO, Sept. 10 /CNW/ -

    WHAT:    Bob Hunter, executive vice-president of venues and
             entertainment for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, will unveil
             Air Canada Centre's new high-definition scoreboard and display
             system and demonstrate its benefits and features. At an
             investment of $8 million, the new scoreboard will enhance the
             fan experience at Leafs and Raptors games, and Air Canada Centre

             Media will also get a tour of Air Canada Centre's west side,
             where construction is underway on a $40 million expansion. The
             year-long project will expand the home of the Leafs and Raptors
             to include a new multi-level concourse, retail areas, and more
             concession stands. Construction will be completed in time for
             the venue's 10th anniversary season.
