REGINA, July 24, 2017 /CNW/ - The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) National Chief Perry Bellegarde and Federal Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs, the Honourable Carolyn Bennett will announce important changes in approaches to First Nations funding as first step towards a new fiscal relationship that will give First Nations more control of financial resources and more support for essential services.
