TORONTO, Feb. 22 /CNW/ - Mayor David Miller and Dr. Ron Dembo, Founder
and CEO of Zerofootprint will join together with community partners and
sponsors to launch Zerofootprint Toronto on Tuesday, February 26.
Zerofootprint Toronto is an innovative and interactive website that allows
residents to measure and understand the impact of their lifestyles on the
environment, and compare their behaviour with other individuals or groups.
At the launch, Toronto and area residents will be encouraged to do their
part to combat climate change by reducing their environmental impact and
adopting more environmentally friendly lifestyles. By encouraging changes in
consumption and lifestyle, residents can help Toronto become one of the
greenest cities on the planet, and a model for other cities around the world.
Date: Tuesday, February 26
Time: 10 a.m.
Location: SAS (Canada), 280 King St. E., 5th floor
The partnership with Zerofootprint and the City of Toronto was first
