TAS DesignBuild invites Visitors to Take a Walk on the Green Side
TORONTO, April 26 /CNW/ - TAS will be on-site at Toronto's first Green
Living Show and is the only major sponsor representing the new home building
industry. TAS will house a booth front and centre that invites visitors to
explore how green living can enhance the quality of their living space. In
addition, TAS DesignBuild principal and trained architect Mazyar Mortazavi
will be a key presenter on the show's Main Stage.
When it comes to sustainability on Toronto's building and development
scene, 31-year old Mortazavi is passionate about the environment, and was at
the helm of TAS-developed M5V Condominiums, one of the first buildings in
Toronto eligible for LEED(R) (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)
On Sunday, April 29 from 12:00pm - 12:25pm, Mortazavi will share his
expertise by offering a presentation about the benefits of living in green
homes, and will identify the challenges developers face to achieve LEED(R)
standards. His presentation will be centred around his personal experience of
creating the M5V Presentation Centre - the first LEED(R)-certified sales
office in North America.
Consumers won't want to miss the TAS booth where they have created a
sanctuary that explores the unique features of living green without
compromising design and quality. A calming water feature graces the booth's
entrance. Visitors can tour five key areas in this mock living space: building
systems, cooking/energy, style/materials, bathing/water and breathing/air
quality. TAS will also display many of the finishes used in their condominium.
Throughout the show, Mortazavi will be on hand to answer any questions. The
TAS booth is number 2001.
