AJAX, ON, May 20 /CNW/ - There's a new energy hog in many households and
as part of Ontario's Energy Conservation Week, Veridian has the answers to
help consumers do something about it.
Televisions and related equipment now hog up to 10 per cent of energy use
in homes. On May 22nd, Veridian President and CEO Michael Angemeer will launch
a new TV energy use awareness campaign designed to help residents make smart
The initiative, one of the first of its kind in Ontario, is another way
in which Veridian is working with residents to conserve energy, save money and
reduce greenhouse gases in communities.
