    Photo exhibition marks station's history

    MONTREAL, July 30 /CNW Telbec/ - VIA Rail's Port-Daniel Station will open
its doors to the public this Saturday evening to celebrate the station's
centennial anniversary.
    An exhibition of historic and modern photographs has been mounted to mark
the anniversary, illustrating the region's rich history and intimate
connection with the railway.
    Members of the community may wish to take in the exhibition during a free
wine and cheese event at the station on Saturday evening. The exhibition can
also be viewed anytime during regular station hours (Mondays, Thursdays and
Saturdays, 8:30 am - 9:30 am and 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm).
    This exhibition and special event were made possible by the Comité du
centenaire, the Municipality of Port-Daniel-Gascons, and VIA Rail Canada.
