Media Advisory - VANOC to mark opening of Paralympic ticket sales



    VANCOUVER, May 5 /CNW/ - The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010
Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) will celebrate the 10:00 am
official start of Paralympic ticket sales with an event open to the public and
media at 12:00 pm at the Library Square Conference Centre. VANOC officials
will provide ticketing program information, and athletes will be on hand for
interviews and to demonstrate their sports and equipment. Members of the media
will also be able to try their hand using an ice sledge hockey sled and other
Paralympic sports equipment.
