VANCOUVER, Oct. 23 /CNW/ - On Tuesday, October 28, the Vancouver
Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC)
will announce the programming and partnership details for Cultural Olympiad
2009. The 2009 festival features more than 400 performances and exhibitions as
well as a new digital program.
Details of a major concert event to mark the official one-year countdown
to the 2010 Winter Games will also be released.
Guests will enjoy three live performances, offering a sneak preview of
the diversity and scope of the 2009 program. VANOC staff as well as members of
the arts community will be available for comment immediately following the
formal part of the program.
